Designing BooksBrands and Websites / Since 1995

William Claxton’s visual recount of his days with the actor as both friend and subject. Some of these candid shots on-set, at home and during off-hours show McQueen as the rough-and-tumble cool guy but there are many more moments showing a mischievous silliness and some of intense earnestness. (Softcover, 8 × 9.9", 192 pages, with French and German translations)

Since joining forces in 1995, we have worked with clients from the corporate, independent and advertising worlds—producing works for print and electronic media. Our current areas of focus are fine-art book design and branding projects with a strong web component. All coding and development are done in-house (CSS, JS, Ruby on Rails, Flash). The two of us approach design from different angles—Ben handles the tech side and Carrie the art. We look for the unique visual voice of a project but know the strength of design lies in the structure and organization of information. Both aspects of design keep us searching for the simplest solutions—both in front of and away from the computer.
